Every Other Day Diet Scam? The Real Truth About EODD Revealed

If there is an Every Other Day Diet scam going on then it’s very well hidden. Usually, when a diet becomes hugely popular, there are plenty of people online wiling to give their honest opinion about its merits. In the case of this particular diet, I couldn’t really find any really negative EODD comments from others.

Okay, but this doesn’t mean that someone couldn’t find some problems with a lot of the EODD diet reviews that currently exist online. I’ll be the first to admit that many of these reviews are a bit too glowing. In fact, I’m going to go out on a limb and say that many of these reviews are written by people who are promoting the plan, but don’t even know what’s inside of the book - because they haven’t purchased it themselves.

Is this Wrong?

Well, not necessarily. But, I will say that when it comes to diet plans, you really can’t give a thorough and honest review unless you’ve actually looked it over with your own eyes. I really believe that these skimpy reviews don’t do the diet plan, or those who are truly interested in it, any justice.

Many online reviews breed skepticism, because a reasonably intelligent person can see that the reviewer is only repeating general information. This doesn’t help a person make a good decision about whether EODD is a good choice for them or not. So, I bet that’s why you’re currently trying to find out if this plan is really as good as all those “glowing” reviews claim.

What I can honestly tell you is that I’ve paid my money to see what EODD is all about. I’ve read the whole book and looked at the bonus materials. Now, this is just my opinion, but I truly can say that I like how the plan is laid out and Jon Benson, the author, goes into detail with the reader about how your body processes fat and calories. Believe me, after you read what he has to say about this, you’ll have a deeper understanding about how his plan effects the metabolism.

This is real nutritional science stuff that I won’t get into here, but basically, Jon believes that the fat we eat creates a legitimate source of fuel for our bodies, as much as, traditional diet foods. And, when you think about it for a minute, he’s right. Our bodies process EVERYTHING that we eat. Everything gets broken down, including fat.

But, if you think that fat is only a lumpy substance that does nothing, then EODD will open your eyes to a new way of thinking about it. Therefore, when he says that you can take a mini break from the diet and eat some of your favorite fatty foods, then you can do this absolutely guilt free.

You see, the fantastic concept behind this whole “cheat to beat” system, is that it incorporates your natural desire to eat your favorite foods, in a way that is non-threatening to your overall weight loss goal. Eating a little pizza here and there isn’t going to turn you into a complete diet failure. In fact, it does the opposite.

You’re more likely to be able to successfully follow the EODD plan BECAUSE you get special cheat days. This is a big psychological boost, since many dieters cheat anyways. You’re allowed to treat yourself to some “naughty” foods and then you go right back on the healthy eating plan. The beautiful thing about this is that you won’t feel hungry or deprived of your favorite comfort food.

Your cheat day will be something you can look forward to, and you’ll enjoy that treat a lot more too. But, you’ll also find that you enjoy eating all the other delicious foods on this plan as well. The plan includes a recipe book, plus general eating guidelines for you do follow each day.

So, while I won’t tell you to completely disregard your skepticism about the Every Other Day Diet plan (because a little skepticism is healthy), I will tell you that this plan is very real and follows sound nutritional guidelines. There’s nothing wacky or faddish about it from what I’ve observed.

Is this the Right Diet for You?

I honestly don’t’ know.

But, I can say that if you like the idea of being able to have a cheat day where you can indulge in a piece of cake, or other goodie, and you feel you can handle that without dropping off the diet completely, then give it a further look.
