Go from Fat to Flat with Dr. Oz’s New Belly Fat Blasting Advice

Join many others with bellies that have gone from fat to flat using best-selling author Liz Vaccariello’s 21-day plan to be slimmer and trimmer this year.

“In less than a month your belly can go from fat to flat,” promises Dr. Oz as he introduces the latest flat belly plan to blast away belly fat that takes only 3 weeks!

With Dr. Oz is special guest Liz Vaccariello, a flat belly guru who has written over 7 best-selling books on how to tighten your tummy and make your belly fat go away for good. Her latest book is titled, “The 21-Day Tummy: The Revolutionary Diet that Shrinks and Soothes any Belly Fast.”

“This plan is the only one that nourishes your body’s own secret weight-loss weapon, which is skinny gut bacteria. This is the missing link in every other diet plan,” says Ms. Vaccariello who explains that scientists are finding increasing evidence that an imbalance in the types of gut bacteria that you possess is strongly associated with weight gain.

Ms. Vaccariello also tells viewers that another benefit is that the “skinny bacteria” you will bring to balance in your gut from her flat belly plan will also eliminate all of your tummy troubles.

She explains that her plan works by having people eat foods that will promote a healthy balance of the skinny bacteria while at the same time heal your digestive issues. Ms. Vaccariello tells Dr. Oz that she herself suffered from severe digestive issues that included gas, bloating and weight gain one year ago that led to her discovering recent research that showed that the kind of food you eat can make a big difference in your digestive health and weight gain problems.

“It balances your gut bacteria by feeding your skinny bacteria,” says Ms. Vaccariello. “Overweight people have an unhealthy balance of gut bacteria and it’s different than in thinner people. And this imbalance leads to inflammation which is our second biggest player here―and that inflammation can make our stomach upset and make us gain weight.”

With the help of a registered dietician, Ms. Vaccariello put the gut bacteria research studies to the test by placing herself and 12 volunteers on a 3-week diet plan devised by her and her dietician. By the end of 3 weeks, the 12 participants had lost a total of 55 pounds.

“I lost ten pounds and my tummy troubles were gone,” says Ms. Vaccariello.

Dr. Oz tells viewers that to achieve a flat and healthy tummy, Ms. Vaccariello’s diet plan relies on a trifecta of skinny bacteria-promoting nutrients as follows:

Skinny Bacteria Nutrient #1: Magnesium

“The first tummy trifecta ingredient is magnesium in the morning,” says Dr. Oz who tells viewers that it starts with a double boost from eating a tablespoon of magnesium rich seeds from sources such as pumpkin seeds, chia seeds or flax seeds that can be added to your morning oatmeal. The second boost is a 400 mg magnesium mineral supplement. According to Dr. Oz, research has shown that magnesium plays an important role in fighting inflammation in the body.

“Magnesium deficiency has been linked to weight gain. So it’s a very important mineral to make sure that you get enough of,” says Ms. Vaccariello.

Skinny Bacteria Nutrient #2: Low FODMAP foods

“FODMAPs are rapidly fermentable carbohydrates—think of them as fast food for your gut,” says Ms. Vaccariello who explains that carbohydrates such as white bread and pasta contain FODMAPs which ferments and causes production of copious amounts of gas that results in bloating.
