New Standard Established For Liposuction, Fat Harvesting

Eclipsemed, Ltd is pleased to announce availability of Body-Jet, an innovative water-assisted liposuction solution, manufactured by Human Med based in Germany. Body-Jet is the first of its kind, offering patients a new and safer liposuction option.

While traditional liposuction basically destroys the fat cells, Body-Jet loosens the fat without requiring impact on the fat cell itself. Body-Jet uses only 25% of the infiltration fluid usually required for standard liposuction. This reduction in fluid results in less swollen mass, improved patient comfort and decreased tissue trauma. This new method allows for assessment of new contours during surgery which greatly reduces the number of corrective actions. Water-assisted liposuction can actually be performed under local anesthesia.

The science behind Body-Jet is a new method and cannula that simultaneously irrigates and aspirates the fat tissue. Blood vessels and nerves are not damaged. Body-Jet essentially flushes the fat instead of destroying it.

Body-Jet offers a superior harvesting opportunity for fat transfer. When immediately filtered with appropriate accessories, Body-Jet does not require the lengthy centrifuge process usually necessary to reduce water volume before a fat transfer.
