Lose Weight on Budget

I was wondering if bad economy will have some effect on our weight. Lose weight and save money is probably the most attractive headline you can find – I don’t think it has been written yet at least by me.  So what you can do to lose weight without buying expensive fitness equipment or signing up for paid weight loss programs. I have gathered some resources that will help you to lose weight and save money at the same time.

  • Eat breakfast at home. According to one article by Judy Creighton published in health and diet section on yahoo.com doom economy will change our lifestyle and our eating habits too.  Actually skipping coffee and doughnut on your way to work replacing it with a healthy home made breakfast is a good thing and it saves you money as well.
  • Start cook and entertain at home. I find and many studies suggest as well that we consume more sodium at the restaurant then if we would cook home meal. So be in charge of the amount of salt you put in your food and stay healthy.
  • Eat more raw food like fruits and vegetable. If you don’t like to cook and you decide cut back on eating out don’t stock your fridge with frozen dinners get some fruits and vegetables instead. If you are able to do that – it is going to be a huge shift to losing weight and be healthy.
  • Find ways to break food cravings.
  • Drink water to lose weight. Here is a free weight loss solution.
  • Sign up for free weight loss plan like the one I’ve suggested in my previous post.
  • Stay active. For example you can go for a walk 30 minutes every day.

As you can see you can find affordable weight loss solution. All you need to do is be more creative and stick to you decision to lose weight on budget.
