Stop Unhealthy Cravings Naturally and Lose Weight Fast

People are trying to lose weight with appetite suppressants. They are going to really mess themselves up. This article is to help people control their cravings naturally so they don't have to do un-natural things to lose fat.

Cravings are the body's way of saying you need certain nutrients. The body doesn't communicate the need for nutrients in scientific terminology. It communicates by desiring certain tastes. If you are craving sweet things or sour things or spicy things, according to Ayurveda, you are craving things that can be given a mind-body classification. If you know the mind-body classification of what you are craving, you can choose foods that are healthy from the same group and your cravings will go away.

Ayurveda is the most ancient natural health system in the world. It believes in being in touch with yourself and trusting your natural senses to guide you in your choice of food, exercise and other lifestyle factors. According to Ayurveda we start craving unhealthy things because our mind and body are out of balance with its true nature. If we start listening to our own sense, gradually we will find the way back to a balanced state.

Taste is the body's way of expressing itself. If you want to stop your cravings you need to first figure out which Ayurvedically defined group of foods that taste belongs to. Then you can choose a healthy alternative from the same group. Choosing foods from that group will provide the nourishment your body craves. Once your body has the nourishment it seeks you won't have the cravings any more. You will have more control over your diet.

For example, our out-of-balance state may say we need something sweet and fattening, but what the body is actually saying is that you need a particular nutrient. That nutrient can be found in other foods in the same mind-body classification. By choosing a healthy alterantive you will lose weight while keeping your mind-body balance. Keeping your mind-body balance means you will have more energy throughout the day, your mind will be alert and you will start having experiences of bliss all day long.

The main thing to understand is that when you have a craving you shouldn't think it is a bad thing. It is actually a good thing because the body is trying to tell you something. You should listen to your body carefully and ask it if it wants that cake or not (for example). Once you get good at listening to your own instincts you won't feel like eating unhealthy things. You won't have to force yourself to stop eating what you really want. The desire for unhealthy food will just go away.

So, don't rely on appetite suppressants to control your diet. Trust yourself and use the Ayurvedic mind-body food groups to naturally and easily become healthier, lose weight and eliminate your cravings.
