Easy Weight Loss: Bring Back Motivation And Inspiration Without Much Sweat

Everybody seeks approval. It is in everybody's nature to want appreciation and love. Just look at all the books written throughout the ages, they all contain stories of relationships and human connection. Even war stories are full of the cheesy stuff about human relationships. And you might not admit it, but there have been times when you carelessly dabbed your eyes with napkin to wipe away tears while watching Nicholas Sparks' The Notebook.

There is definitely nothing wrong with that. In fact, human relationships bring us to our story about motivation and inspiration. It is common for everybody to be driven by a certain motivation, or inspiration if you must, whenever there are things to be done. Whether you are scaling the heights of Mt. Everest or simply changing the light bulb in your room, there is a motivation or inspiration somewhere inside you.

Being the best that you want to be requires the fullest support of other people which includes your family and friends. The inspiration that people gives you will help you in focusing on your job or career and other functions in the mainstream of society. Indeed, everybody is preoccupied with pleasing other people and gaining approval from the public.

And here lies a problem for people who are fat. Increasingly, fat people are experiencing discrimination, much like the racial discrimination in the 1960's. Let's face it, nobody likes being a jelly belly or a butterball. Ask people who are fat and even they will tell you that they do not want to be fat; except, of course, if a person is into sumo wrestling or in a quest for Ripley's or Guinness Book of World Records.

Overweight persons can see that society looks down upon them; and the culture that pictures from Hollywood and the fashion runways of Paris bring to everyone's consciousness is not at all that helpful. Today, being anorexic can be a better proposition than being fat. And this carries a lot of weight in suppressing the emotions of people who are overweight.

So, how can people who are weighty be ever inspired or motivated if they feel that the entire world is mocking them? No wonder then that being overweight is being linked to depression, which can be classified as a serious psychological condition that can affect one's overall physical health. Depression is never a joke. And it is a direct result of total lack of motivation or inspiration.

However, someone who is fat never has to reach this critical condition. The only way that society's approval--therefore, inspiration—can be attained by overweight people is for them to lose all the extra baggage of flab in their bodies. Now, this may be easier said than done.

A good starting point in solving one's weight problems is to always think about being overweight in terms of the gross disparity between food intake and physical activity. Manipulating the equation consist of caloric intake on one hand and caloric burn on the other can help people with weight problems to come up with their own action plan in getting back to normal weight range.
