Can I Randomly Lose Weight?

How many people withing the past year do you know that has gotten fatter and gained weight, even a pound or so? How many do you know in the last 5 years that has gotten bigger? Are you one of the unlucky ones as well?

Now switch it around and think of how many people in the past 5 years or past year has actually lost weight.

I would almost guarantee this is a much smaller number. Many of you reading this article probably can't even get an idea of one person that has lost weight, much less a few. I would almost bet that you know more people that has gained some pounds than those that have lost.

Here in the world today it is more common for people to gain than it is to lose weight. So losing weight is very uncommon. And if you are one of the ones who can shed some belly fat then consider it a success because no one else is.

Many times we are unaware that we are even gaining weight. Eating during most TV shows, social parties, three day weekends, holidays, vacations, and other special occasions are oftentimes a big contributor to our overeating. And finding the time to get to the gym and stay committed is a whole other story. I say all that to say that you can see there are many reasons people are gaining weight.

Can you think of any times that people have randomly lost weight? There aren't too many reason surrounding random weight losses. How many can you think of?

Here are three I thought of.

1) Sometimes people get sick, like the flu, and want eat for a couple of days.
2) Mouth surgery that requires drinking from a straw only.
3) Depression can also cause a person to not want to eat.

That's about it or at least no more come to my mind. Random weight loss usually doesn't feel good and has a very sickening feeling associated with it.

I know for me personally, I wouldn't want to wait for one of these events to happen in order for me to lose weight. Instead of all the drama associated with ailments like those mentioned above, I would much rather follow an eating style without a whole lot of effort to lose weight.

It is much easier to lose weight when you don't feel like your having to work towards a goal than it is when it feels like work. Most diets have so much that goes on that it literally feels like another job. The sad part about this type of situation is you will not stick with it.

By just changing up your eating pattern you can put your weight loss on automatic. You can actually train your body to burn fat almost accidentally.
