Lose Weight Quick by Eating Right - Why Diets Fail

Are you overweight? If so, by how much? Perhaps, ten, twenty, or thirty pounds? Maybe you are as much as one hundred pounds heavier than you have ever been.

Many people in this situation are so distraught with whom it is they become they jump at the first flashy thing that glints at them from the fitness community. Some turn to drugs. Others turn to the dieting industry. Still others try their hands at costly surgeries that always pose a risk to their long-term health.

Why do people do this? The obvious answer is that they no longer like who it is staring back at them in the mirror, and the faster they can get rid of that person, the more quickly they will be as happy as they once were. Unfortunately, very few that jump at the opportunities mentioned above are ever proud of their decisions. Some even pay the ultimate price as a result.

The worst thing they do is define how quickly their weight loss should come. Then, when normal exercise and eating right fails to live up to their expectations, they resort to something that promises more and delivers less卪uch less.

The reality is that weight loss can be cheap, effective, and quick, if the person trying to get fit commits to his exercise and eating routines, and then holds himself accountable to that benchmark on a regular basis.

While most diet programs promise clients drastic weight loss goals in a shorter amount of time, they fail to point out that it is not weight the person needs to lose, but fat. The two are separate factors. And if dieting programs were honest about what they can do for FAT loss, clients would be much fewer and farer between.

The problem is most people tend to believe what they see in movies and popular media. They believe that going on a diet will help them lose weight. This is true only in the short term.

You see, when you lose weight going on a starvation diet, you are losing both muscles and fat. Your muscles become weaker because you are not eating right. Providing the right nutrients and vitamins is very important to having a healthy body.

Over time, if you persist with dieting, you will start to feel lethargic as you now don't have weaker muscles to rely on. To make things worse, your metabolism may be plunging and your body starts to store up fats because it needs to conserve energy.

Once the initial weight loss period is over, you then find yourself putting on more weight because of all the excess fat stored in your body for energy conservation.

Sooner or later, you are going to have to start eating again because your body simply cannot resist growing weaker and weaker by the day. That's when you find that you will gain back all the weight you have lost, plus some extra pounds.

Hopefully, I have managed to convince you that pure dieting doesn't work.

The only way to a healthier future remains through proper eating and exercise. Make it a part of who you are, and you will love who you become.
