A man needs three things in life for his survival. These tree things include - house, clothes and food. Out of these three things, probably the last one, food is the most important. As man can live without clothes and house for a few days but he can not live without food for even a single day. Food means the stuff that he eats for his living. The food provides his body growth and energy to work. Without food he can not do anything.

Let us first know what is meant by food? Actually, food includes everything that provides the body required nutrition and helps it to grow strong. The food also provides the body the required amount of energy that makes the human machine work properly. The body of man entirely depends upon food for the required amount of energy. Not only that, whenever the body of the man encounters shortage or lack of energy, he feels himself unable to do anything by himself. According to y opinion, the body of a man is run only with the fuel that we call as food.

Food has different ingredients in it as the stuff we eat has many essential things that supply our body the required energy. Some of these ingredients are carbohydrates, minerals, proteins and other chemicals needed for the body. All these things are essentially required by our body as lack of any one of these may cause serious problems for the body. For example- if we do not get the required quantity of Vitamin A in our food stuff, we suffer from a disease called Night blindness in which the person becomes unable to see anything after the sun sets in the evening. Similarly our body can face many such deficiency diseases as and when that particular things lack in his body.

A healthy diet has all the essential ingredients in it and it does not support any deficiency diseases. There are many benefits of a healthy diet and the most important of them is that it always keeps the body fit as well as free from all diseases. So we must know the other benefits of the healthy meal or diet.

A healthy meal can do the following things for your body:

It controls the weight of your body.

It supports your body while in the phase of growth and development so that you attain your full bodily potential.

It is observed that whatever you eat affects your mood.

A good and balanced diet makes sure you have all the necessary nutrients needed for your brain as well as other parts to function well.

It helps you to have more energy to enjoy all kinds of exciting physical activities, like running, surfing, football, dancing etc.

To make the food balanced in every ingredient, you must take advice from an expert dietician and you should follow the advice fully. Don't forget to take sufficient amount of water everyday. You diet should include green vegetables, fishes, eggs, meat; fresh fruits etc. in particular and recommended ratio. You should have small intakes at proper interval of time. Don't have heavy diets that are difficult to digest.
