There are a couple of secrets to loosing weight in a great, no-pain, even fun manner. Here we share them with you;

1. Commitment: ever search the net for weight loss stories. All the people who lost weight, whether it was 10 pounds or 100 ponds, will tell you one thing. 慡tay committed!' Stick to your weight loss plan and see it through to the end. Arrange for sources of motivation for yourself like sticking the picture of a person you think has the fitness level you want on your fridge.

2. Think long term: don't go for fad 7 day diets. They may shed a pound or two, but they'll also leave you struggling with malnutrition. Go for long term, sustainable and healthy weight loss.

3. Low Carb Diets: try focusing on a low carb diet. Carbs basically get transformed into energy sooner than any other nutrient, when the energy doesn't get used up, your body stores it as fat. And when the body feels that its energy supply has depleted, it signals the brain that it's hungry again. This is how eating sugar leads to sugar cravings. Also remember that a low carb diet will be high in fat. Don't worry, fats take longer to convert to energy, you'll be feeling full so you won't be eating.

4. Drink Water: water is nature's blessing to humankind. Poets have written scrolls of praise over it, and it's justified. Water is a natural cleanser; it detoxifies the body, makes the skin glow and stops your muscles from swelling up due to water retention. Water is also the best natural appetite suppressant. The average healthy adult should take at least 8 glasses of water a day, and when you're aiming to loose weight, take an extra 8 ounces of water for every pound of extra weight.

5. Exercise: this doesn't mean you go down to the gym and start hitting the dumbbells. Although a time will come when you may naturally want to do this, but we'll just focus on the moment at hand here. Getting in about a half an hour's activity a day, something that will make you work up a sweat, is great. It will speed you metabolism, utilize the energy in your body and make you realize the potential strength hidden inside you all this time. It's amazing how mild exercises can boost your self confidence.

6. Set small goals: don't go for immediate big goals like 憀oosing 100 pounds' that will take a while to show. Go for the small things to give your confidence level the much needed beginner's boost.
