Dennis’ Weight Loss Story!

When did you become unhappy with your weight?
Last July.

What made you decide to lose weight?
I was fat and I decided I needed a change.

What were the most important changes you made to lose weight?
Soda pop, fast food , enriched white food and portion sizes.

What was most challenging about losing weight?
Being hungry all the time.

How long did it take you to start to see results?
A couple of months.

How long did it take for you to reach your current weight?
Nearly 10 months.

How long have you maintained your weight loss and how do you do it?
I have kept it off for several months now and I just try to stay on track.

How has your life changed now that you’ve lost weight?
I can tie my shoes much easier now. I also have tons of more energy!

Weight loss tip #1:
Control your portions.

Weight loss tip #2:
No soda pop or juice with added sugar.

Weight loss tip #3:
No enriched white foods (white potatoes, white rice, pasta, etc.)

Weight loss tip #4:
Exercise.

Weight loss tip #5:
Determination.

Dennis’ Weight Loss Eating Plan!

Breakfast:
Half peanut butter sandwich and a banana.

Lunch:
3 oz. lean meat , strawberries , orange , egg white.

Dinner:
5 oz lean meat or fish, 1/2 cup brown rice, green beans, green leafy salad.

Snacks or Mini Meals:
Kiwi fruit.

Dennis’ Weight Loss Workouts!

Weight Training:
Circuit training 4 days a week (chest, arms, back and several leg exercises).

Cardiovascular:
4 days/week – 30 minute on the elliptical trainer. I also start on a bike and treadmill before moving to the elliptical.
