2. Do not skip meals. Skipping meals is not going to help you lose weight because it lowers your metabolism. Besides, if you skip meals you will feel starved. Once that happens, your body's natural tendency is to compensate for it by eating a lot the next time you get the chance to eat.

As said, a healthy weight loss plan should include exercise. Here are some tips you can follow.

1. Do aerobic exercises. They will help increase your metabolism so you burn more energy. Good exercises are running, jogging and biking. When you do these exercises regularly, you will really lose weight. However, doing these exercises over and over can be boring and boredom could lead to giving up. Thus, you need some strategies to keep you going. When jogging, bring your family or friends with you so you have somebody to talk to while going around. 2. Build muscles. Lift some weight to develop more muscle mass. The more muscle mass you have the better your metabolic rate becomes. You continue to burn calories even at a resting state.
