Weight Loss Affirmations - Make Them Work For You

As you more than likely already know, practically everybody associates weight gain with junk food. In fact, there has been billions of dollars invested into research regarding the fast foods which have become a staple diet for so many people nowadays. Unfortunately, the average person has become so accustomed to eating junk foods, that they are no longer even aware of what goes into them.

Of course, various laws and legislation have made it impossible for fast food manufacturers to prevent us from having access to this information and yet one cannot but help notice a very strange phenomenon, in that overweight people continue eating the same foods even though they know they shouldn't be. In fact it's almost as if they are unable to control themselves. Obviously if this is the case then it would only seem natural to assume that this type of food must be irresistible. Have these fast-food chains managed to create deep fried chicken and hamburgers which are so good that people simply cannot say no? Of course, the answer is no. It is simply impossible for any food to be so good that people cannot live without it, unless of course, the manufacturers are making use of drugs. Let's face it; many people are as hooked on fast foods as what others are hooked on hard drugs such as heroin.

Of course, as human beings, we generally enjoy eating, both because it keeps us alive, and also because it gives us enjoyment. As know, when your stomach is full you tend to experience a feeling of satisfaction. Unfortunately however, the food and beverage industry are not willing to let matters rest, in that they continuously come up with various marketing ploys and other devious methods in order to make people crave their products. Without even trying to exaggerate, one can easily see a similarity between many modern day food products and illicit drugs. The sad thing is that no human being requires them and yet people continue to become addicted. The bottom line is; unless you yourself enforce certain control measures, you stand the risk of becoming addicted to fast foods in the same way that drug addicts become addicted to drugs. This of course begs the question as to why some people become addicted to fast foods or even regular foods on occasions.

Essentially, when you overeat, you cause your body to enter into a pattern of yearning, which in turn causes you to associate that specific type of food with enjoyment. This in turn ends up making an impression on your subconscious mind, and before you know it, that specific type of food soon becomes one of your essential needs. In fact, the process is exactly the same as it is with drug addiction. When a person takes heroin their brain makes an association between the drug and the resultant feeling of euphoria, and that is essentially what leeds to the addiction. Do it once and you will get away with it, but if you continue to do it your mind will soon be convinced that you can no longer be without it.

Basically, if you eat a lot and you do it regularly, your mind and your subconscious mind start to believe that the food you're eating is crucial to your psychological and emotional survival. This is in fact why certain people can even experience withdrawal symptoms when they stop eating certain types of food. As you know, drug addicts and alcoholics also experience the same effect.

This is essentially why almost anything in life can eventually lead to addiction if we allow it to. Fortunately, as with certain other obsessions and addictions, subliminal technology has made it possible for us to combat weight gain. By continuously and consistently repeating affirmations, you can eventually be successful at removing the addictive associations from your mind, and when you achieve this, your excess weight will be gone and you'll no longer be overeating.
