Rev. Al Sharpton: “You Should’ve Worried About Me When I Was Obese”

al sharptonBack in 1991, being obese may have actually helped Rev. Al Sharpton escape death after being stabbed in the chest, but these days the civil rights activist is free of his protective armor and living life to the fullest in a healthier way.

“I’m never going to be fat — never again,” Sharpton said in a new interview with the New York Daily News.

Sharpton, who recently celebrated his 60th birthday, is down to 129 pounds from 305 pounds and says he feels “younger and more energetic” now.
