What is the definition of Free Radicals And Antioxidants?

What Are Free Radicals?

A persons body makes free radicals during ordinary everyday actions. Eating, walking, running, breathing, toxins processed diets, chemicals in our meals and all natural activities contribute to free radical manufacture in our body.

A free radical is a molecule in your body that has lost one of its electrons, leaving it with an odd number of electrons. These free radical molecules make an effort to stabilize themselves by “stealing” an electron from a healthy molecule. This grabbing of the missing electron causes injury to your body. It is believed that free radicals using electrons from nourished molecules are one of the main causes of getting old.

Define Antioxidants!

Antioxidants are found in non-processed ingredients. Antioxidant-solidingredients have nutritional elements with extra electrons. Consuming these high antioxidant ingredients helps avoid the hurt to your body done by free radicals. What happens is that the antioxidant donates the free radical the extra electron so the free radical does not have to steal one. This protects your body from aging. The antioxidant food repairs the free radical and therefore protects your body from aging.

Our bodies can manufacture antioxidantsin nature, but under everyday conditions such as a bad diet, taking intoxins, life's stressors or other life problems your body may become incapable of producing antioxidants. Do you know someone who looks older than they are? Chances are their badeating and lack of antioxidants has caused to early aging.
