Weight Loss Resolutions are Useless

January is said to be the busiest month for fitness trainers. It’s the time of the year when people go to the gym to fulfill their New Year’s resolution of losing weight. These people would tell the world of their wish to drop excess weight and be in shape. But come March, gym attendance begins to decrease.

According to Craig Kastning, Chicago Fitness Trainer and Boot Camp Operator, New Year’s resolution of losing weight is usually broken. Most people go to the gym for a week or two and then they would lose interest. They would say that they would go to the gym the next day but they tend not to return to the gym.

Craig added that people should work with a fitness trainer to motivate themselves to keep their gym appointments. It would make them accountable for someone. Fitness trainers would call up their clients whenever they miss a session.

There are several factors that lead to breaking one’s resolution of losing weight. The first one is choosing the first Monday to start their new routine. They would eat a lot over the holidays and this doesn’t breed long-term success. They also fail to set goals. It such not be as simple as to lose weight. People should have a specific, realistic goal.
