Nutrition/Cider vinegar

Question
Hi,

I have read a lot about the benefits of cider vinegar over the years. I regularly put a splash of organic cider vinegar into my water with meals to sharpen it up. So I was not a little surprised when I was told from a doctor (medical) that cider vinegar will do more harm to your liver than alcohol. Doctors are not renowned for their nutritional knowledge, but is there any truth in this? (I suffer from no conditions).
Thanks in advance...

Chris

Answer
Hi Christopher

Apple Cider Vinegar because of it is highly acidic can harm the stomach which in turn can damage the liver if consumed in high quantities. Here's the good part, if consumed lightly it may be beneficial most would agree. This may be slightly contradictory but, Apple Cider vinegar has been shown to help not hinder many types of aliments.

Hope this helps
