Kind Regards,

Answer
Hi Michael

I think that there is considerable recent medical evidence to suggest that a low GI diet is far more "natural" in terms of the way our bodies are constructed and operate.  In terms of better health, it is not just for diabetics as some would suggest.

In terms of weight loss, the low glycemic approach might not work any better than other caloric reduction programs for some, but it works best for many.

Rather than writing an extended reply, I refer you to my web page on the health advantages of the low glycemic diet.
