how much organ meat?

Question
Hi
I've been eating raw paloe for a while now but i'm concerned that i may not be eating enough organ meats. At the moment i eat about 500g liver a week, 6-7 lamb kidneys, 3-4 lamb hearts, a few tablespoons of bone marrow, with a few sweetbreads every other week when i get them. The rest of my diet is suet, and fatty steak.
Should i be eating more organ meats and if so, how much more would you reccomend?
Thanks

Answer
No, that's fine. You have plenty of variety/quantity of organ-meats, for now(organ-meats should be a minimum of 10% of raw animal food intake, but it's not so important to exced that provided you have nough variety, which you have). You might also be interested in Dr Ron's site as well:-

He sells freeze-dried organ-meat supplements(derived from 100% grassfed cattle) of the highest quality(ie minus preservatives/trans-fats like magnesium stearate etc.) Anyway, he even provides organs like brain which people like me are unable to get hold of. It might be an idea to buy a bottle of the "organic organ-delight" multi-organ mix. The stuff is rather expensive but at 1 capsule a day, with 180 capsules in the bottle, that lasts 6 months, and should provide, if only in small amounts, bits from most organs.

Other than that, I heartily recommend that you keep looking around for more sources of raw marrow and raw tongue. At least I find them even tastier than the other kinds.
