Special diet for maintaining youthful vigour

Question
QUESTION: I am a 24 year old male. I am working in tough climatic condition and devoid of proper diet. Can you suggest me a diet to regain my youthful vigour.

ANSWER: Vinu-

The best diet for health in vitality is one that is very high in fresh fruits, vegetables, nuts, seeds and sprouted grains. This is a plant based living cuisine diet. If you consume at least 80% living foods you will find the life-force of the food becomes part of who you are in your body. It will reverse disease and detoxify the body. Whole foods is also very important so that when you are consuming cooked food you make sure that it is whole food versus processed food- thinks like quinoa, brown rice, wild rice, steamed vegetables, beans, and spelt would be good options. Most people find it's easiest to begin incorporating more living foods in their diet by starting with a heavy salad and lunch and a superfoods smoothie for breakfast with fruit, green and a superfood such as hemp protein, etc. Salads should consist of dark leafy greens, avocado, nuts, seeds, olives and fresh vegetables of all kinds. A simple olive oil and vinegar dressing is best. Please let me know what other detailed information I can provide you with and feel free to check out our website at www.118degrees.com.

QUESTION: What about the option of dry fruits? Can it be a substitute for fresh fruit?

Answer
Vinu-
Dried fruits are a good substitute but you have to be a little bit more moderate with your consumption of them because they are much higher in concentrated sugar due to the drying process. Be sure to drink extra water when enjoying them and look for dried fruits that are unsulfered.
