Question
please what was the average size of a womens bust hips and waist in the 1920's? help

Answer
Kristine,

This is not at all my area of expertise, but I was curious, so I went and looked it up.  The 1920s was the era of the Flappers and fashion for women was to be very very thin and almost bustless.  In fact, women frequently wore compression bras to flatten their chests to get a more boy-like shape, they cut their hair very short and close, etc

According the the most reliable source I could find, the "average" measurements of a women in the 1920s was:

Bust - 34"
Waist - 25"
Hips - 35"

I hope this helps.

In Health,

Dr. Jacques
