Boyfriend is a Compulsive Overeater

Question
I need serious help. His food addiction is out-of-control, and it has already destroyed out sex life, as well as what's left of our relationship. I realize this is an entire lifestyle choice, but I am at a loss on how to get him motivated to take the first few steps towards making healthier choices. Any advice you can give me would be most appreciated.

Answer
encourage him to drink more water, 1/2 his body weight in fluid ounces, but make very sure it is in small sips throughout the day , not gulps all at once, that would be deadly or at the very least cause illness.

He has to want to solve this and stop his unhealthy ways, you can encourage and best of all, lead by example.
