Diet & Heart Disease

Question
I've read that you can reverse or heal heart disease by low fat, no oil, no fat, no nut diets but a lot of raw food books use a lot of nuts & oils but claim that these foods can in fact help to heal heart disease.   This is confusing.  What is your take on this.  Is there a raw food diet specifically for someone trying to heal.

Answer
Hello Val-
Yes  I agree it is confusing- I think the main difference here is that raw oils affect the body so much differently than cooked oils. Also when trying to heal or cleanse minimal oils in either case is prefered. A good thing for someone looking to heal in this category is juicing. Lots of green juice and other fruit juices high in citrus like lemon- powerfully cleansing. You may be able to find more detailed information from Gabrial Cousins at the Tree of Life Rejuvenation Center in Patagonia AZ- I believe he has a lot of experience in this catergory- Please feel free to email me for additional information at [email protected]
Peace and Blessings
