Body type, body fat distribution, and weight loss

Question
Hey! How are you? I have a question about dieting/losing weight, and i hope you can help me out on this. Thank you for your time and patience!
I am 5'5 and i weight 160. I wish to lose around 30 pounds. I have a pear shaped body, with most fat on my thigh and behind area. I am pretty active, walking 1 hour to and back from school everyday, and i usually play around in a gymnastic park for 2 hours everyday. Not serious exercising, just moving around and flipping, monkeybars, ect. I still attend high school, and i usually eat school food. I'm wondering if you have some advice on how to get those 30 pounds out for me? Once again, thank you!

Answer
To answer your question better, I need to know your body composition, not only your body type. You can measure your body fat percent at home using our free calculator.

Get it at http://bantadiet.com/banta/?page_id=21

Or, calculate it online

Your body image can be a different story, but not necessarily a bad one: Jennifer Lopez, Kristin Davis, Janet Jackson, and Jennifer Aniston all have the same body type!

Now, about losing the 30 unwanted pounds while eating school food, you still can choose, cant you? For instance, cut down on bread and sweets and go for protein and good fats. Don't eat carbohydrate-rich foods for breakfast, have something like the classic eggs and ham breakfast, or, if you cook or your mother would agree to cook for you, take a look ar our sample breakfast at: http://bantadiet.com/banta/?p=63 and if you like it, join our group clicking on Start Now button -- and have more recipes.
