Learn To Lose Weight The Healthy Way Without Dieting!

Stop dieting and choose a healthy way to lose weight instead. Learn to stop cravings and stop overeating by changing your relationship with food. It isn't as difficult as you might think. All that is required is a commitment to do so.

You do need to make some lifestyle changes, but that can actually make you feel healthier and stronger without feeling deprived and anxious. Learning to stop cravings for sweets and other food that puts on those extra pounds is important. Learning to control compulsive eating or emotional eating is equally important.

Being drawn to the desert tray is one habit you need to control, but that's a small sacrifice for good health and maintaining your weight. Learning to control compulsive eating or eating when you're sad or upset is another habit to eliminate, but here again, it isn't that difficult once you learn how.

Healthy dieting means not dieting at all, but changing your lifestyle to a healthier way of eating and maintaining your weight. It doesn't mean sacrificing, it means making better decisions when it comes to eating. This is the answer of how to lose weight without dieting. This means changing your relationship with food and the way you think about food.

About 30 years ago I made the decision to stop smoking once and for all. I tried to stop smoking so many times before, but without success. I found a book written by Dr. Maxwell Maltz titled, "Psycho-Cybernetics." Dr. Maltz was a plastic surgeon and was always puzzeled by the fact he could change peoples appearances, but couldn't change what they thought about themselves.

He decided to learn hypnosis to see if he could teach people how to change the way they saw themselves by changing their sub-conscious minds and what they believed to be true about themselves. We really have two minds, the conscious and sub-conscious mind. I could write for hours about your two minds, but I suggest you get a copy of Dr. Maltz's book.

The point is that by changing your beliefs about food, you can stop cravings, stop compulsive eating and other bad habits that cause you to overeat. If you can stop overeating, you can lose weight without dieting more easily.

When you stop cravings, compulsive eating or overeating it is easier to find an effective weight loss plan. Choose a healthy way to lose weight by learning about portion sizes, how much exercise you need to do to lose weight and how many calories you need to cut or burn off in order to lose the weight you want to lose. Be careful of weight loss tips you find on the internet that suggest fast and easy ways to lose weight. Not all tips on line are valid or safe.

You will need to do some exercise to lose weight, but you don't have to kill yourself to do so. Many people use walking to lose weight. Walking is a good start, but you will need to walk fast enough and far enough to lose weight. I do 3 or 4 13 minute miles 5 or 6 days a week to lose weight and keep it off. I didn't start out that way, but over time I was able to reach my exercise goal and weight loss goal.

So where do you start? Always talk to your doctor before you start.Start by learning how many calories to lose weight is appropriate for your body size and type. Learn about portion sizes. This was amazing to me. Do you realize that most restaurants serve about 3 portion sizes for you so that you feel it was worth the money you spent? Talk about over eating. I usually spit an order with my significant other to keep in control. You don't have to kill yourself to start a good exercise plan. Start slow and don't overdo.

Having a realistic weight loss plan without dieting is important. Plan on losing about 1 to 2 pounds per week. This is a healthy way to lose weight that doesn't create stress, anxiety or unhealthy habits. Always talk to your doctor before beginning any exercise or diet plan. That will keep you safe and out of trouble.
