But with the gathering coming up, do you think you could lose 10 pounds a week?

Don't stress out, I got you covered. Here are four things that you can do to help you become 10 pounds lighter in just a matter of days.

Tip 1 Drink plenty of water. Drinking plenty of water can actually be beneficial in two ways. One, it can smooth the progress of digestion and two; it can help you feel full in between meals. The reason why I say water is because it free of any hidden calories and harmful chemicals

Tip 2 You can lose 10 pounds a week by cutting down on carbs. Instead of eating bread, pasta, rice or any kind of brown or white foods, you can try eating fruits like apples and strawberries or raw vegetables like carrots and celery instead. These foods contain a good source of fiber to make you feel full without all of the guilt.

Tip 3 Get your protein from reasonable amounts of lean meats, or maybe chuck done a few cooked beans. Stay away from processed meats though, like packaged bologna or Vienna sausages as these usually contain a large amount of sodium that would, in turn, make you retain a lot of water in your body.

Tip 4 Take your exercising up a notch. If you use to exercising three times a week, How about doing it every day of the week. Tiring yes, but this is one of the sacrifices that you must make if you want to get the desired results in the quickest amount of time.

Something else to note; some studies have proven that a short routine works better than a longer one. So if you want to lose 10 pounds a week, you can break up your entire 40 - minute exercise routine to maybe 10 minutes every 3-4 hours or twice ever 6-8 hours.

These tasks may seem really easy, but when you are actually doing it, it's a whole different story. So just be diligent in your efforts and it will pay off. Remember this, the "lose 10 pounds a week" routine is only ideal if you want to lose weight for an upcoming event or if you want to break out of your weight loss plateau. Doing this for a long period of time, could be dangerous to your health and is not advised.
