We are sure you love the new you. There is no better pleasure than watching yourself achieve something that you thought was impossible a few months ago. You are still in the transition phase of discovering the fit and fabulous you so continue the efforts, exercise right and eat right.

Morning - If you haven’t tried apple cider vinegar already, take a few sips today. A great drink for weight loss, apple cider vinegar curbs your appetite and aids fat loss. The acetic acid in the apple cider is responsible for better digestion and it also increases the absorption of minerals. It boosts immunity too. Do not drink apple cider on an empty stomach though.

Breakfast - Try the rice and lentil crepe or adai dosa today. This high fibre and protein rich recipe is easy to prepare and tastes delicious with the nutritious green chutney.

Lunch – For lunch today, try a kiddie’s special recipe. The wonder rajma is a complete meal in itself. Rice pancakes stuffed with a tangy and delicious rajma mix will satisfy taste your taste buds and keep you full too. It is a great lunchbox recipe so if you are on the go today, enjoy this wonder rajma wherever you are.

Dinner – Eat an early dinner today. Late dinners spoil your metabolism and digestion cycles. Eating dinner around 7pm will not only promote weight loss but also help you sleep well, reduce gastrointestinal problems and keep you refreshed the next day. You can try the mooli muthiyas for dinner today.

Snacks – Snack on simple murmura with onion and tomato instead of the traditional bhel. The ingredients in the mixture are deep fried and hence may not be a good option for everyday snacking. Mix finely chopped onion and tomato with murmura. Add salt, chili powder and squeeze half a lime. It will taste as good as your bhel.

Now that you know the food plan, let’s move to the exercises of the day. You have already extended your limits this month and taken your workout a level up. Continue the good work and try to make more time for exercise daily.

At home – Begin your cardio before you hit the gym. Don’t forget to warm up and cool down before these exercises. These 3 simple cardio exercises are going to improve your metabolism and make your fitness goal easy.

In the gym – Are you working on your abs, chest, shoulders and thighs because they are visible in the mirror? Remember, a strong and sculpted back can actually make or break your look. Without a strong back, you may not be able to engage in high endurance workouts. So engage in some weight training exercises for a sculpted back at the gym today.

Yoga – To prevent viral infections, cough and cold this season practice the parvatasana or mountain pose. It strengthens the muscles of your chest and lungs and tones them. It is great for detox too.

Before sleeping – Say goodnight to your phone and all other gadgets at least 15 minutes before going to bed. This will help you enjoy a peaceful and sound sleep. Here’s why you should keep your phone switched off at night.
