The warmer weather makes outdoor play much more exciting and welcoming so enjoy this time by increasing your calorie burnout rate. There are many things that you can do outdoors.

Take the children outside for some fun play with a ball, their bicycles, scooters or any other sporting equipment that they may have. Run, skip, jump, play, throw and catch – any activity that you do with them will help you to burn calories while having fun and bonding at the same time.

You could alternate between spending time in your garden, at the beach, a park or a friend’s house, etc., so that no one gets bored with the same routine and activities all the time.

You could even perform outdoor chores such as mowing the lawn, gardening, sweeping, etc. Not only will your garden look neat and tidy, but you would be closer to reaching your weight loss targets too!
