Exercise and weight loss

Hi, I am a 17 year old girl, about 165-170 pounds, 5"6, and not super big boned, but a slightly bigger frame. For about a year, I have been "dieting". I started out at 1850 calories, and have very recently gone down to 1000 per day. When I first started out at 1850, I slowly decreased that number, but saw no results. I have lost virtually nothing, even though for a long time I have been eating much less and healthier than I used to before i started. At first I would walk about 15 min, and do crunches, but that did nothing, so I just walked for 30 min a couple times a week. I don't understand how I can have lost NOTHING. I see no difference in my body. So like I said, I very recently went down to 1000 calories a day, of which the foods I eat are salads, corn, oranges, bananas, tuna fish, oatmeal, eggs, low fat cheese sticks, 100 calorie packs, and sometimes lean cuisine dinners. I also only drink water. I go to school and work, if I work on a school day I have to go to work as soon as I get home, then don't have time to exercise when I get home. I am off at least 2 days a week, of which I do an hour of walking on the treadmill at 3.4 miles per hour. I try to get another 30 min in on Saturday. Will I finally lose weight? I'm so desperate to lose weight, I have lost nothing even after the big improvement I've made in my diet. Will what I'm doing now finally work? I really want to get rid of all the fat on my body. In clothes I don't look very big at all really, but clothes can totally disguise a person. Obviously I want to look good without them. I don't expect some perfect body, I just want my stomach smaller, also, I have a, I guess what you'd call a fat roll, below my breasts, and other areas, that are "fatty and blubbery". I just really want to get rid of some of the fat and shrink my stomach. Is the treadmill work I'm doing good? Are there any exercises you know that don't take a really long time that help with getting rid of fat? If I will lose weight now how much do you think I'd lose and how fast? Thanks for the help!

Add some weight training to your routine. Building muscle will help you burn more fat.
