HI:About how much(1cup,etc.) walnuts should I eat weekly or monthly to give me the proper amounts of these essential fats instead of eating cold water fish?

Hi Larry,

You should try to include a source of omega-3 fatty acids in your diet daily, if possible. To get the required amount of omega-3's, you should eat 1/4 cup walnuts per day. Other sources are 1 tsp flax oil, 1 Tbsp flax seed, 4 tsp canola oil, or 12 oz firm tofu.
