Keep weight but lose fat

Question
I'm a 6,5 feet 270 pound football player. I want to stay the weight that I am but I want to lose body fat, And I want to become more cut. Is there a diet or a plan I can follow that will help me acomplish this goal?

Answer
Dear Jay,

As a Brit I know nothing about American football, but if it's soccer the same advice would go: just burn it off. The more exercise you do the more muscle you build and the more fat you burn. It's very simple. Keep protein and cabohydrate levels in a good proportion (don't overdo one or the other, but protein helps build muscle and carbs are necessary for energy). There is gym equipment which specifically trains isolated muscles, abs, biceps, thighs etc, so take your pick.
Eat lots of salad, veg and an apple a day (really works!) too, and drink loads of water or you'll become acidic and you won't lose the fat.

Or else just play your socks off (well, maybe not...) and you'll get there.

Good luck,
Evelyn.
