Eating too little to lose weight?

Question
Hey I just wanted to know if u could help by lettign me know wat i should be eatign and when.  I have been trying to lose weight for the past month but have lost nothing at all.  I am eating much less and going to the gym for 40 minutes 5 days a week.

Answer
Dear Lou,

The problems with people exercising enough can be the following:

1. You are eating too little - try eat more, specifically lore good fats like olive oil, tree nut oils, and fatty cold water fish.

2. You are not doing enough strength training while exercising aerobically - try including weight lifting, maybe even replace some of your aerobics with strength training.

3. You are eating too much carbohydrates - try to exclude breads, potato, rice, pasta, and starchy veggies while adding good fats.

Hope it helps,
