middle-age spread

Question
I'm a 39yo male, hitting the gym 3-4 times a week, doing 30 minutes on elipticle and an hour+ weight-lifting. My body is getting toned save for my mid-section. Love-handles, spare tyre, pot-belly, it just won't shift. I've stopped doing sit-ups in order to prevent ab muscles from pushing the residing fat out past my belt any further. I reduced my food intake, changed the types of food, drank more water, tried slim-fast. Any guidance?

Answer
Dear Montacruz,

Your problem seems to stem from your insulin sensitivity issue. The mid-section is the place where insulin direct what it considers excess calories, even if in fact there's no excess.

The solution is to go low carb, then on carb rotation.

Since our popular Banta plan is free, I feel comfortable recommending you to take a look at http://bantadiet.com You are welcome asking any further questions.
