Weight Loss Tip #15 – Keep track of your progress

Being unorganized will not yield good results in most pursuits, and weight loss is no different. Along with having a customized diet plan in place, you also need to keep constant track of your progress.

You can track the amount of calories burnt and calories eaten using websites like HealthifyMe.com. As for exercise, make sure you have a chart for both cardio and weight training. This will also be motivating because even though you may not see drastic results in the mirror, you are likely to see them on your chart.

In case you are not running on a treadmill or an elliptical trainer, you can still use fitness apps like Runtastic and Nike+ Running, etc. that can keep track of the amount of exercise you do. Try not to skip this tracking routine even if you feel tired or lazy after doing everything right. In case, you skip a day or go off-track due to some event, then mention that in your chart too. Do not lose hope and take your foot off the pedal. Remember success is not about never losing a battle, but instead about winning a lot more battles than you lose. Good luck!
