Three Easy Tips To Lose Weight Fast

I'm sure you have seen every weight loss infomercial and diet pill coming and going. They all claim to help us lose weight but how do we truly lose weight fast? This is a question that few have answered truthfully. Shedding pounds and inches around the waist line is not rocket science. It's just that 90% of people are going about it the wrong way. Enjoy these easy to follow weight loss tips and start applying them to get lightening fast results.

A big mistake most people make is skipping meals. When you starve yourself your body begins to think you are literally starving. Your body will begin to store calories as fat. This will throw your thyroid levels off balance which will slow down your metabolism. All of these things will hinder your bodies ability to burn calories at a high level and you will not lose weight fast.

Always eat small portion meals throughout the day. Five to six meals a day is ideal. To keep your metabolism working at a high level never go more than three hours without eating during the day. Always enjoy higher carbohydrate meals when you first wake up in the morning or right after a good workout or exercise routine. Glycogen levels are restored early in the morning and after workouts so this is the best time to take in extra calories.

To burn calories, build lean muscle, and keep a fast metabolism you must stay active. You want your body to be transformed into a fat burning machine. Always workout and exercise three to four times per week. Every workout session should last 25 to 45 minutes. This will speed up your ability to lose weight fast.

Recovery is vitally important to losing weight fast. If you want to keep your body in the best shape possible you must be getting 8 to 10 hours of sleep every night. I'm sure some of you are thinking yeah right, no way I can get that much sleep every night. Trust me it's easier than you might think when you put your mind to it. If you can't get that amount of sleep every night (which you should strive for) take naps during the day. One or two 20 minute naps every day are perfect. Recovery is important because lack of sleep and high levels of stress actually increase cortisol levels in your body. The body will store fat at a fast rate when cortisol levels are increased.
