How to Lose 10 Pounds in 2 Days

Losing weight is usually fun and in most cases, the faster it is the better. This is why I am not surprised when I get questions like "how to lose 10 pounds in 2 days". It's a natural human desire to wish to lose weight as fast as possible.

The only question is whether this kind of weight loss isn't a bit exaggerated. Can you really lose 10 pounds in 2 days?

My answer is that it's not possible. If you consider the calorie deficit required to achieve this kind of weight loss, you come to the conclusion that you will need a bit more time to lose 10 lbs.

The minimum timeframe I can think of is 3 days, and even that is a bit tight.

To try to do it in 2 will require such and extreme caloric deprivation and such a huge caloric expenditure (through extreme physical activity) that I doubt that you'll be able to handle it.

So, I recommend that you don't even try it. It can really make you feel physically ill and I see no reason why this should happen.

You can lose weight fast, there's nothing wrong with that. However, you do need to give yourself appropriate time to do it right.

I usually recommend at least 2 weeks to lose 10 pounds. Yes, it can be done sooner. However, 2 weeks will give you the time to do it in such a way that it will be easier for you to maintain your weight loss far into the future.

After all, the last thing you want is to lose weight temporarily and watch it creep back on. Nothing can be more demoralizing.

Therefore, I suggest that you don't try to lose 10 lbs in 2 days. Give yourself more time and you will succeed.
