Now that summer is just around the corner, make some time to engage in some spring cleaning – whether it’s old clothes, books or items that you no longer require, pack them all up in boxes and clear them away. In addition, you can help friends and family to do the same in their homes and your calorie burning count can double! The heavier the boxes, the sooner you will reach your weight loss targets!

Remember to be careful when lifting heavy objects. The following should be borne in mind:

Do some stretching exercises before attempting to pick up heavy objects, especially if they are big. Ensure that your legs are bent when lifting the object and that your arms are comfortable. Heavy loads should be carried with two hands and you should never over-strain yourself.
