Lose weight by reducing bites, licks and tastes

Biting, licking or having a taste of your partner's meals or snacks may help you pile on the calories, if overdone!...
Who would have thought that a harmless bite of your friend’s hotdog could make you gain weight? Well, consider the following:
Size

Firstly, exactly how big was that bite? Was it just a small, insignificant little nibble that barely got your salivary enzymes flowing? Or was it a bite big enough to leave you wanting and consuming more afterwards?
Calories
Secondly, what exactly was in that bite? Was there any added butter or sauce, loaded with calories?
Nutritional value

Thirdly, consider the nutritional value of the food. Was the bread roll a whole wheat one, or a refined white one? Were there any salad ingredients such as lettuce or tomatoes, included in the hotdog to increase its nutritional value?
Remember, taking bites, licks or tastes, if done often enough, many times daily, can definitely help you to increase your waistline. So unless you’ve come up with a way to burn the extra calories – it’s best to avoid them completely!
