Burning extra calories

Question
I am basically adiccted to food but have recently been on a strict 1800 calorie diet and excercise program.  I ride an excercise bike or walk an hour a day to try and burn 400-600 calories a day.  Being an addict I miss the "fun" foods I used to eat.  My philosophy is that if I burn more than the 400-600 calories, say 200 more for a total of 800 can I waste those calories on an extra candy bar or donut.

Answer
Hi Gene,

Please learn to distinguish between real food and flavored packing material. Food is healthy, the other makes you feel lousy, lowers your quality of life and shortens your life. Addiction to refined sugar is not a joking matter. What is in donuts and candy bars has been clinically shown to be addictive as nicotine, and linked to a wide range of diseases and disorders, from bone loss, brain loss, to athlete's foot.

This calorie obsession of yours needs to be updated.
