Thank you for nutrition question. Congratulations on your friend's recent weight loss. I usually don't recommend "diets" because they usually don't result in permanent weight loss. When the dieter stops being on a diet she tends to put the weight back on. I do however, recommend "lifestyle changes" such as choosing healthier foods and increasing physical activity.
