stomach area

Question
Hi,
My wife eats quite sensibly- although maybe too much sugar content in some food. She exercises regularly by way of weights and cardio in the gym. Her upper body and legs are quite defined but she is having real problems losing fat around her stomach, hips and upper thighs. She is 40 yrs old, 5' 2'" and body fat of 28%.
Any suggestions please?

Answer
Hi, yes, 2:

ANY refined sugar is a problem. Refined flour is the same deal. Read lables carefully, make it go away. If you can't pronounce it, odds are it is a preservative or a form of refined sugar.

Eat protein, eat carbs, but don't eat them at the same time, let them take turns, like brown rice or whole wheat pasta and non-starchy vegetables for lunch, non-starchy vegetables with meat for dinner.
