Fish

Question
Hi there! I asked you a question not to long ago and i love your response.. keep up the good work.
However I fully decided to do raw, but when I went to purchase my grass fed meats... the store told me they have none, and havent had any for a very long time. I was upset as now I maybe have to look for other sources in IL.
But I still want to be raw.. with or with out my grass fed meat.. that is until i can get ahold of some.

What do you think about raw fish? As in which fish is best to eat raw? Also I figured that fish live in the ocean so maybe I can go to my local fresh market to purchase some fish until i get ahold of the grassfed meats. What is your take on this?
thankyou! oh also is there anything that is considered raw, that i can get from my local market? vegetable wise? or does this too have to be special?
thanx!

Answer
You need to look up eatwild.com and any other online grassfed meat directory websites, so you can find whatever grassfed meat farms are based in your  local State or neighbouring States. Then you can get them delivered to your door(or pick them up from the farm, perhaps?).

Raw fish is fine as long as it is wildcaught fish. farmed fish is unhealthy. All wildcaught fish are fine, though some fish will be easier for a newbie to get sued to such as raw swordfish, raw mackerel, raw tuna etc. I would not think it's a good idea to eat only raw fish in the long-term, but as a sizeable part of the diet along with raw, grassfed meats, it's fine.

I don't bother so much with quality when I buy raw plant foods as I am not so badly affected by low quality raw plant foods by comparison. Other RVAFers prefer to only buy raw, organic fruits/veggies. Each to their own.
