Too Old To Get Flat Stomach? May Be You Are Doing It Wrong

Crash Diet May Harm You:

Many people who try to lose weight think that the fastest way to lose weight is by decreasing the amount of food they eat as much as they can or what is called crash diet. Actually this is totally wrong as it works for few days and give false results so you may think that you will continue with this diet till you get to your target weight but this make your body think that it is starving which leads to storing fat in the body as a protective response.

Actually one of my friends tried this type of diet with hard exercises and he lost a lot of fat at the beginning and when I saw him I was surprised with the amount of weight he lost. But after two or three weeks he started to become seriously sick and was about to die because of severe anemia. His nails was falling and he was feeling fatigue very fast and suffered from general weakness as if he was going to die.

So stay away from this kind of diet except if you know what you are doing and you can control the results.

 

Hard Exercise Also May Harm:

The other common thing is that people think that they should exercise as hard as they can to burn more calories which should lead to fast weight loss. Actually this is a very wrong way of thinking. Our bodies are not like machines the more you use them the more they burn fuel, our body are alive and have many protective measures and complicated processes so you can’t think that way like if there is only one factor controlling the process.

If you want to do hard exercises you will need to make some changes to your diet. When you exercise hard you are not only burning calories but also you building muscle and to build muscles you need protein. If you didn’t eat enough protein to build muscle you will harm yourself and you may end by gaining fat and wasting muscle, this is completely the opposite of what your goal should be.
