Tip: Only eat when hungry

Many people on diets are driven to eat too much or too often because of a faulty belief that eating regularly is somehow the best way to lose weight.

This is simply not true.

Eating regularly is one method of dieting - five or six SMALL meals per day can work for weight loss.

However if you're not HUNGRY why on earth would you eat anyway? It makes no sense. (If you're NEVER hungry then you probably have a hormone imbalance and you need to see your doctor).

But if you only get hungry twice a day then maybe you should only eat two meals a day until that changes. There's no reason to eat food if you are not hungry.

And if you're eating a healthy diet you will get very good at knowing when you are hungry and when you're not. (Make sure you teach yourself to tell the difference between boredom and hunger! We tend to get them confused!)

Eat mostly fresh fruits, vegetables, lean meats, nuts and seeds, eggs, some dairy and a little starch and you'll be fine. Just don't eat if you don't need to.
