no added sugar

Question
I saw that the fruit juice I bought has tons of sugar, 30g per serving. But there is "no added sugar", it's all natural. Does it matter if the sugar is added or natural or is it unhealthy either way? Thanks

Answer
Good morning Lee

30 g of sugar is a lot even if it is natural sugar. To answer your question it does matter, natural sugar tends not to spike your insulin as much as processed sugars. If you are diabetic you have to watch both types equally. If you do intake sugar it should come from natural sources such as apples, pear, ect.. As for sugar it is a substance that should be limited as much as possible. Food with sugar in it may not effect you now but in the long run it most likely will.
