Im just curious

Question
I was just wondering, I used to have a big enough butt that looked good to me and for my body size. But due to illness I've lost a lot of weight and some of my butt along with it. If i gain all my weight back and maybe a little more will it return to normal?

Answer
Dear Nikki, Everybody is different, so there is no exact right answer. If your butt was muscular and you lost it due to illness, the body might have utilized that muscle for essential protein needs of the body. The body will break down less important muscles for protein needs, and then utilize it for more important bodily functions. Rebuilding muscle does not come easily. You will have to exercise like you used to when you were healthy and eat enough protein and other nutrients to allow the body to rebuild itself. If your butt was mostly fat, then genetics will help to rebuild your butt just the way it was. Hope that helps, Laura Kraemer,Slimkids.com
