Urea in agriculture and human body

Question
DEAR SIR
      I LIVE IN INDIA .
I WANT TO ASK THAT FARMERS USE UREA AS A FERTILIZER FOR THE PRODUCTION OF  RICE WHEAT AND OTHER GRAINS IN INDIA .

I WANT TO ASK YOU THAT HOW MUCH UREA IS  SAFE FOR HUMAN HEALTH ?

Answer
Hello,

Urea solutions for irrigation should contain less than 30 kg urea per 100 L water. Urea concentrations for sprays is usually 0.5% ?2.0%. I hope you don't confuse urea as a fertilizer with urea as a biochemical in human body. The body uses it in many processes including metabolism of protein and amino acids' and it is capable of controlling its excretion.
