Calories and fat in different kinds of popcorn

Question
Hello,  I'm wondering why there are conflicting reports on how many calories are in air popped popcorn?  I've seen where they say there is 31 calories in one cup and on the actual bag of popcorn they say there is 20 calories per cup.  If it really is 31 and someone thinks it's 20 those extra 11 calories can add up if they eat a lot.  Should I follow what the bag says?  Thanks,  Tracy
