psullium

Question
For the past few weeks I use a psyllium husk supplement. I take 6gr. a day between meals. It is seems helpful with regularity. Since my fibre consumption is generally low, 10-15gr. daily, is it ok to go on taking it for a long period, or is it addictive?

Answer
It's a natural supplement, which isn't always indicative of safety or health (after all, hemlock is natural too), but in this case should be fine.
